I have some new valuable information for you
and I have broken it down to 2 separate posts
but its the same thought really.
Traveling does open up your mind ,
and makes you see things waaaay differently.
Just came back home to Poland
and noticed how young people of my age
are ridiculously “engaged” with things
they should not be. Especially education-wise.
Seems like some governments want to cut off creativity.
And yeah I am not a moaner that the whole country is like that.
But think of that at the next business,hr meeting
or reorganisation.
ARE YOU USING 300% OF YOUR PEOPLE’S TALENT?
THIS wont get you there
The best books on HR, conferences
and change of policies WILL GET YOU NOWHERE.
UNLESS…
YOU HAVE EMPATHY FOR “YOUR PEOPLE”

In today’s economy companies run around trying to get more and more people
buying their products or using their services.
But with not enough money in everybody’s wallets it has a slim effect.
There is a very simple solution: Take a step back.
Stop. Think about who are you as a company, what are your values,
why are you different and most importantly:
START CARING MORE ABOUT YOUR EXISTING CUSTOMERS.
How are they like, what do they enjoy, WHY do they enjoy your product, service,
ask them if there is something YOU SUCK at and CHANGE THAT.
This will not only get you some deals but also new referrals.
Without any running around and shouting: “Pick me!”
No one cares today.

I just came back fom Germany where I was giving presentations
to senior high school students about option of studying in England.
What struck me is that there was no spark.
No curiosity, no interest, slight emotion.
I started noticing how the eduction system works over there
and got the answer.
“ORNUNG” - the german correctness and almost obsessive accuracy.
That’s what kills inspiration, creativity and innovation.
What is there to learn for you?
Don’t over obsess about your management,hr, sales, distribution, stock or busines plan.
In fact don’t stress about ANY system.
Its the people who make things happen, not the systems.
Embrace empathy, innovation, motivation, inspiration and CrEaTivIty. Thats how you win.
Especially today.

I think the biggest challenge that both the advertising and marketing industries
are facing, especially with economy like today are ENGAGEMENT & EXPERIENCE .
To put it simply, engage me with your brand, product service in a way I would
personally want to try it, do it, EXPERIENCE it. Then I am your guy.
I don’t care for your budgets and hours you put in the campaigns.
I am me. If it does not make me smile and is fun, you are out!
To best illustrate it:
You can either win
(Tourism in Aruba)
or fail
(Yeah right like I care what you offer.)

While on the way to the gym today
I noticed a very smart quote on the pavement
written with an orange chalk. It said:
“I will not fear fear.”
Think about that. How do you act when you are upset about something?
Do you go like, “How can I make things change for better?”
or
“Yeah I would like things to change, but I don’t think they will .”
My advice:
“Fear not the fear. ” Sometimes going out of your comfort zone and doing something
crazy might change your life. For better. Trust me, it already happened to me.

I stumbled upon this video a few days ago
and cant get it out of my head.
Its a speech from 1992 by a 9 year old.
Watch it and ask yourself if you have a cause
if what you do creates a positive impact
or any impact at all?
It should.

My phone fell apart today and it got to a point I had to get a replacement. So I went to a privately owned electronics reseller in London.
They had a huge choice of various models and brands and I had a hard time to choose one.
I approached one of the sellers and told him: “I need the simplest phone with no gimmicks, it has to offer two things,
good sound quality and simple menu for text messaging.”
I was hoping for an exhaustive expertise and an overview of various models and brands.
What I got was a simple: “I don’t know, give me the brand and model name.”
For some it’s too hard to provide a good quality business experience but you should make all the effort it takes
to NOT be in that bunch.
Or I am not taking my credit card out.
